Back to Fall Basics :: The Blazer Days

Hello everyone! I’m back and I hope you’re all well and everything is swell! My summer holidays in Syros are over, but I’m looking forward to the coming of a new season – fall. It is a season with an awe-inspiring color palette paving our transition into winter’s colder days in a most beautiful way. The temperatures are still quite high here in Greece and so if you’re thinking of going on a mini-break in September then believe me, the Greek islands are a real treat right now. But before I get carried away about island getaways, I think its best to take in the changes that come along with this lovely new season. There are work days, fun days, and flirty days ahead with office meetings, lunches with girlfriends, and unplanned cocktail drinks with my man. And they are all blazer days – my all time favorite wardrobe staple! Care for some blazer lookbook inspiration?!

A blazer is definitely the one piece every woman should have in her wardrobe. Its practicality is unbeatable. It is sharp, casual, sporty, polished, sleek – a real classic. It can make any woman or man look presentable in an effortless way. It is a key to power dressing, but it can add a glamour factor to a casual outfit bridging any styling gap. Style it with denims, silk tees, white shirts, turtlenecks or matching skirts. Royal green and burnt orange tops are the best mood setters for this season.

Wear it with patent heels, ankle boots or sneakers. A blazer will refine your look however you choose to style it. So, when in doubt just grab a blazer and off you go. Do you feel the inspiration? I sure hope so!
