Hi, everyone! It’s Friday and I can’t believe that June is almost over…Can you? There has been quite a lot of rain in my parts (Athens) and I think that has thrown us all a bit off balance. Although, we’re dressed in summer clothes, it doesn’t feel all that warm as usual. Anyhow, we won’t let any rain spoil our mood. So let’s get psyched up for a great weekend. And here are this week’s fun reading links, including one about New Zealand, that will surely help you unwind…because during the weekend having fun IS a priority!
Let me start off with these stunning visions of the earth.
The actual journey matters more than the destination. That’s my motto. Still, there are a few places that I would love to visit during this lifetime and is partly why I always wanted to travel to New Zealand. These are probably the best photos I’ve ever seen of New Zealand. I don’t know about you, but seeing photos like that, totally inspires me and gets me into a wanderlust mood.
As a matter of fact, here’s my little wanderlust adventure – going off the grid. It was a short break, but none the less, beautiful and very intoxicating.
Next, Dan Brun Architecture, a local studio renovated a Frank Gehry designed LA house. I think it’s worth checking out. Personally I just loved its material palette – walnut, glass and concrete.
Last but not least, here are 10 facts about Frank Lloyd Wright that I bet we don’t know; an iconic architect born 150 years ago, who’s legacy will remain untouchable.
Have as many laughs as you can and love everyone you can…
Have a great one!
