It’s officially the holiday season and once again there are so many social calls to make! Of course that’s the perfect excuse to dress up and look gorgeous, and enjoy good living in the oh-so-beautiful holiday glow that surrounds us. It’s also a great opportunity to look through our wardrobe for new combos and revamp our style with some jewelry accessories.
Now, I’m sure you’ve noticed that statement earrings have made a comeback with a bite. They’re bold and all about getting attention. Personally, I love the classic-no-fuss studs and occasionally small but edgy hoops, especially when I had long hair and put them up in a bun. However, now that I have cut them short in a bob, I’m seriously considering splashing out on some of these super large earrings that make any outfit pop. So here’s my list of the 9 pairs that got my attention and inspired this moodboard.
Some of them are extra long and really big, while others have a fringe, too, which is really trendy as we speak. Moreover, some pairs are handmade that makes them unique, yet still affordable! At first I thought that I would never wear such huge pairs of earrings. But my grandmother always said ‘never say never!’ Boy, was she right or what?!
The fact of the matter is that the more we see them around, the more we like them and hence, it becomes a lot easier to adapt and integrate them in our every day-styling! Indeed big statement earrings are very trendy! Personally I haven’t got any but might reconsider after this and to be honest can’t think of a better time than Xmas holidays to enjoy a pair!
