Christmas season is such a joyful time; it’s a time of giving and giving without the expectation of getting – pure act of loving. There’s so much joy in that. But, it can also be a stressful time for many people who are bewildered by the surrounding abundance (including myself) and the tormenting question of ‘What shall I buy him/her?’ Therefore, I decided to make a couple of moodboards – guides with potential gifts. This first post-moodboard is a Christmas gift guide for the home addicts friends of ours who will be hosting a party. The other post will have more personal gifts for him, her and all the little people in our lives.
My gift guide was inspired by this minimal grey Scandi-chic dining setting that has a hygge feel to it. Its decor is so beautiful that it transcends such serenity. Maybe it’s freezing cold outside with a misty air but inside we want that cozy feeling of a get together between friends and family sharing a glass of wine, dining in white porcelain, and if need be get covered in a throw or two while watching the low lights glisten and socialize…Ooops, I think I got carried away. So, as I was saying I chose things that I would love to buy for myself to have and to use around my own home. Most can be used as decor all year round like the peacock wreath and the candelabra. How great is that?
Hope this Christmas gift guide inspires you with your gift list. It’s only a little over than 10 days to Christmas. Yassss! Stay tuned for the second moodboard with more personal gift ideas for everyone…
