How to Wear Track Pants Like an It Girl

Track pants have long been a key athletic staple – until the breakthrough! A highly regarded woman in the fashion industry, with a unique vision brought about a revolution in athleisure: Stella McCartney. The British fashion designer, a passionate vegeterian and a strong advocate of animal rights, made a long-term collaboration with Adidas in 2004 that I believe brought a revolution in athleisure. Since then, athleisure-wear surfaced up and became a trendy, casual-uniform alternative.

Lately, the track pants have been worn by numerous celebrities and fashion influencers, like Olivia Palermo and Chiara Ferragni, proving the versatility of these pants. So, if you haven’t included them as one of your weekly uniforms then do so now!!

Swap those skinny jeans with casual athleisure pants and dress them up or down…whatever! Just follow your mood. Oversized hoodies, silk shirts, lace tops, cropped tees, embroidered jumpers are only but some of the options. To prove my case, the following three different combinations will show you how to make track pants work an extra mile for you! 🙂 Also, be sure to check my Pinterest pinned images for more inspiration…
