Well hello there! My Easter break is over and I’m back trying to get my mind to settle home. I hope you missed me, as much as I missed all of you. It feels like I was gone for so long, but it was only a week’s break. I feel however, quite refreshed and ready to move on! Lucky me, the weather in Syros was beautiful (not too hot, not too cold and quite sunny). So, it was ideal to wear the most versatile ever outfit: DENIMS! Oh yes, denim clothing is probably the easiest staple you can wear, especially on a Greek island. It is safe, but it’s not boring. Denims would even make my granny rock (if she was still with us)!! That’s why denims have been featured on every catwalk this year and every fashion magazine from Vogue to Elle and everything in between. Therefore, feast your eyes with some denim inspiration… and rock on.
A really cool denim jacket as a layer over another outfit or a pair of jeans with a different cut that you haven’t dared before, might be a lot easier to add to your wardrobe than you think. Boyfriend jeans are here to stay, but with a twist following the ant-fit denim trend that embraces slouchy jeans that we all feel so comfortable in.
Jeans nowadays are more raw, with a soft wash, and distressed most of the times. They can be paired with any shoe and that makes them playful and fun! A cropped sweat, a Bardot top or a boho white shirt and a little bit of attitude can all work magic. And since 2018 calls for more play, then say yes to color! This is probably the best time to invest in colored denim like pink or khaki. A tip to remember if you’re more petite: allow for some ankle and avoid knee length jean skirts. Or better yet, why not try the all denim trend?! Layer all your denims in no particular order and make a cool fashion statement. After all, no two jeans are ever alike!

The straight cut, wide thigh leg jeans are big on the scene. The long shirt over it surely adds a stylish edge to them. Elisabeth and I love to pair them with boho white shirts, instead.
So, skinny or slouchy? Classic denim or white? As a layer or all over? What’s your take?
Love to know, xx
Yes to denim! Big fan!!! Love the total denim look!!!
