Hosting a Christmas dinner can be a big deal. Right? It’s all about getting together with family and friends and creating beautiful memories. As such, little details that make our house guests feel the love and warmth that go into putting together this feast, resonate on our tabletop decor. So we put together this year’s Christmas dinner table setting, took several photos of it and voila!
Elisabeth opted for rustic style decor for Christmas and more glamorous decor for New Year’s Dinner. Next week, I’ll be posting about the New Year’s tabletop. The dominant color is red, complimented by a muted pink because of the tableware. Tealight candle holders and Christmas decor spread over the dinner table, help set the festive mood. Personally, I love a white wooden sign that reads XMAS. This little touch of typography fits right in.
Hence, take a minute’s break and glance at this beautiful Christmas dinner table setting with a serious hygge vibe. I’m sure that it will spark your imagination. 😉
Every table setting has a unique red and white decoration ornament for instance red bells, wooden hearts and Christmas trees. Moreover, little stuffed Santa gnomes and red threaded reindeer were placed on the table as cute little reminders. Another thing that makes a huge difference is that no tall centerpiece is used. The decorations come in various heights and when placed dips must be created for visual interest. Yet, there is no stand-out tall centerpiece. Instead, special attention was placed on using as many tealights as possible. The motto: the more, the merrier.
Doesn’t it feel cozy and warm with all those red splashes of color? Plus every guest gets to keep the Christmas ornament that decorates his/her place setting. 😉
Now don’t forget to spread the love and share the inspiration with a friend…
